         DIET

No general prohibitions, however, a Wiccan who is devoted to a God or Goddess who protects animals may need to maintain a vegetarian diet.

        HEALING BELIEFS

At the bedside, the use of talismans and shrines dedicated to healing deities is an important part of the healing process.

        HEALING PRACTICES

Patient may request prayers and healing rituals along with whatever medical treatment is being done. If the individual wishes a laying on of hands, this should be allowed.

        MEDICATIONS

No restrictions

        MEDICAL TREATMENT

No medical restrictions. Wiccans generally believe in the efficacy of spiritual or psychic healing when done in tandem with standard medical treatment. Therefore, at the request of the patient, other Wiccan personnel should be allowed visiting privileges as though they were immediate family, including access to ICU.

Members of the patientís circle should be allowed to visit as if they were immediate family members.
