    Hannah is an experienced professional in the education industry with a strong background spanning 14 years. As a qualified teacher, she has worked extensively with children from birth to 8 years, honing her expertise in providing holistic and inquiry-based learning experiences. Hannah firmly believes in inquiry based practices, fostering hands-on learning opportunities that empower children to explore and discover. Passionate about the natural world, Hannah places great emphasis on connecting children with nature, recognising its vital role in their development. Through her previous role as an educational leader, she has successfully designed and implemented various programming and documentation initiatives. Hannah's dedication extends beyond her own classroom as she actively mentors and trains other educators, sharing her knowledge and expertise to enhance early education practices. As an advocate for quality education, Hannah’s impact on the lives of children and educators alike is immeasurable.
    Outside of Orenda, Hannah also serves as secretary to the Early Childhood Educators Tasmania South committee.

With a commitment to supporting families and educators, she continuously deepens her understanding of cognitive and sensory development in the early years. Sarah is passionate about developing and leading interactive training sessions for families and educators while also providing guidance and resources to facilitate meaningful individualised learning opportunities for children. Sarah's educational philosophy is heavily influenced by the principles of Steiner education, which she skilfully incorporates into her practice. She has a special talent for integrating sensory learning into her approach. By employing diverse and innovative teaching methods, she ensures that the unique needs of each child are met, fostering an inclusive and enriching environment for all. Her commitment to creating inclusive and enriching environments for children demonstrates her unwavering belief in the potential of every child.

With her vibrant enthusiasm, Tiffany fosters a culture of love and respect among the children she teaches, igniting their curiosity and sparking a lifelong thirst for learning. What truly sets Tiffany apart is her unwavering dedication to supporting children in the responsible use of tools, ensuring their safety while fostering a sense of adventure.   • Alice Ruzicka- Part Time Educator

    Currently studying Diploma of Early Childhood Education.

    Alice brings seven years of experience in early education and care, specialising in nurturing toddlers. Her gentle, observant, and slow-paced nature gives her a unique ability to build deep, nurturing relationships with the youngest children at Orenda Circle. She often gets down into the children’s social environment, using the tool of sportscasting to support their engagement and early communication skills.

    Alice leads by modeling respectful and thoughtful interactions, creating rich social learning environments where children feel safe and supported. She is passionate about providing a secure space where children can thrive and families feel confident leaving their children in a nurturing environment that mirrors the security of home life.

    A devoted lover of nature, Alice integrates her passion into her work by sharing stories about the natural world and encouraging children to observe and reflect on their interactions with the environment.

    Currently studying her Diploma of Children’s Services, Alice is eager to deepen her understanding of storytelling and project-based learning, core philosophies embraced at Orenda Circle.

    Outside of work, she enjoys quality time with her family, immersing herself in nature, and practicing wood carving.

  • Teagan Crawford - Part Time Educator

    Currently studying Certificate 3 in Early Childhood.

    Teagan is beginning her journey in early childhood education through a traineeship at Orenda Circle, driven by a genuine passion for understanding how children learn and develop. Since becoming a parent in 2022, Teagan’s curiosity about childhood learning theories and play-based development has grown significantly, inspiring her to take this next step.

    With a background in customer service and administration in pharmacy and psychology settings, Teagan brings patience, compassion, and empathy to her new role, qualities she sees as vital for supporting children’s wellbeing and growth. She is eager to immerse herself in the diverse educational philosophies embraced at Orenda Circle, reflecting her open-minded and lifelong learner mindset.

    Teagan is excited to join a community where her values and passions align, and she looks forward to developing into a thoughtful, nurturing, and reflective educator, committed to supporting every child’s unique learning journey.

  • Lilly Edmand -Part Time Educator

    Currently studying Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care.

    Lilly joins the Orenda Circle team undertaking a traineeship in early education and care. Lilly brings a warm and welcoming presence to the Orenda Circle team. She's a quick learner with a genuine passion for fostering the development of young children. 

    Lilly's strong family connection, nurtured by growing up in a large household, translates beautifully into her interactions with the children at Orenda Circle. She possesses a genuine and caring nature, creating an environment where children feel comfortable to explore and learn. 

    Lilly thrives in the collaborative environment at Orenda Circle. She is a true team player, always willing to lend a helping hand and support her colleagues. Her supportive attitude fosters a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.


  • Abbie Macpherson - Part Time Educator

    Currently studying Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care.

    Abbie is beginning her early childhood education journey as a trainee at Orenda Circle, drawn by a desire to build a rewarding career where she can grow, learn, and make a meaningful contribution to the community. Growing up in a large family surrounded by many children, Abbie developed a deep appreciation for the importance of communication and connection in supporting children’s learning.

    Passionate about nurturing children’s emotional wellbeing, Abbie is especially interested in supporting them to feel safe, secure, and valued. She is keen to deepen her understanding of language development and communication in the early years, recognising how crucial these skills are for children’s growth.

    Abbie looks forward to learning alongside a team of dedicated educators and aspires to become a supportive mentor and guide, helping each child thrive in their own unique way.
